The Warranty Consultant is a centrally staffed agency employee responsible for completing remote Warranty Process Check-Ups with dealerships in the USA. The Consultant is also responsible for providing technical claim assistance to Warranty Operations Auditors and assisting in special claims review projects as needed. Warranty Process Check-Ups: Warranty Process Check-Ups are warranty process training sessions performed remotely in Allen Park, MI. During the check-up the following is reviewed: • Repair processes - typically supported by communications to the dealers including the Workshop Manual, Technical Service Bulletins, Warranty Action Notices, Special Service Messages • Warranty processes • Warranty claims review • Dealer self-analysis tool review - Dealers are encouraged to routinely perform a self-analysis to ensure implemented process improvements are consistently being followed • Dealer Warranty Dashboard review The actions are consultative and are intended to help the dealer improve their internal processes so that they can be prepared in the event they are selected for a random audit.
