Position Description:

Job Description The ideal candidate will take part in the creation of test automation for infotainment systems. We are looking for an energetic and experienced Software Design Verification Engineer with experience in Android and QNX. The successful candidate would be working in a fast-paced agile development team delivering solutions that will enable test automation of software at a vehicle/module level. Responsibilities • Review specifications and identify clear product requirements. • Develop and execute functional and integration test plans for feature implementation. • Perform Test execution in a hardware lab environment, prepare reports & follow test cadences. • Automate test cases using Python and in-house libraries. • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. • Investigate and reproduce in-vehicle infotainment software issues and verify the software fix. • Use defect management tools for defect creation and monitoring of resolution. • Fully understand and apply Standards and tools for pipeline development. • Follow code artisanship best practices, quality, and security standards; and contributes to the improvement of them. Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, applicable degree, or equivalent work experience. • 5+ years of advanced professional experience with Software / Requirements Verifications along developing automation scripts in Python (Test Suite and Automation solutions for multiple Verification / Validation scopes & Integration levels). • 3+ Years of Python or Java Development • 3+ years using version control system (e.g., Git/GitHub). • 2+ years of professional experience implementing test strategies and designing test strategies.

Experience Required:

• Advanced experience on Electrical Architecture, or Functional Architecture, or Software Architecture. • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Test Rail), version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub), issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA), CI environment (e.g., Jenkins), corporate Wiki (e.g., Confluence) • Support Product Test execution in a hardware lab environment and work with cross functional team • Work effectively on an agile team following agile practices with Internal Software Design Verification groups as well as with Tier I and Tier II (external suppliers). • Experience with software operations (DevSecOps, Reliability Engineering, observability, support/maintenance, etc.). • Experience in secure coding practices and modern software development methodology, such as pair programming, test-first/test-driven development OR demonstrated delivery of singular focus programming. • Proficient with Automation tools. Understands and applies industry Software Quality Assurance standards (ASPICE, ISTQB, ASAM, INCOSE, etc.). • Understanding of automotive protocols like CAN/LIN/Ethernet • Understanding of tools to capture and analyze automotive communication. • Previous test experience with real-time or embedded applications. • Experience in automotive industry • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) • Capable of delivering multiple project commitments concurrently

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study.

Additional Information :

Position Work Status - Hybrid (At least 3 days a week in Office [Dearborn] up to 5 days)
