G-TECH Services, Inc. Drivability and Benchmark Engineer - Intermediate - in Auburn Hills, Michigan

The Drivability and Benchmark Engineer will lead activities related to vehicle drivability with responsibilities including but not limited to:

Serve as the point person for competitive drivability benchmarking

Stay abreast of competitor-vehicles including competitive technology and market-reception

Set objective drivability targets with support of technical experts

Coordinate drivability simulation with the virtual analysis team

Collect in-vehicle drivability test data

Analyze in-vehicle drivability test data using tools such as ETAS-INCA, AVL-Drive, Matlab and MS-Excel

Report drivability test results, status-to-target and recommend countermeasures to stakeholder teams

Create regular drivability scorecard update reports and present to the stakeholder team

Support vehicle development test-trips as required to assess drivability across environmental conditions

Perform other assignments as-required.


 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university

3+ years experience in product/propulsion system development

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Powertrain and Electrified Powertrain Systems

Experience with futuring and competitive benchmarking

Experience with in-vehicle testing

Experience with ETAS-INCA, AVL Drive, Matlab and MS-Excel
