G-TECH Services, Inc. Emissions Process Lead - Intermediate - in Auburn Hills, Michigan
The Emissions Process Specialist will be responsible for supporting all vehicle emissions processes and procedures for the Technical Safety and Regulatory Compliance organization. The Specialist will lead efforts to develop and document the major emissions processes, roles and responsibilities and controls for the organization. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Interacting with all levels of the organization including individual contributors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), team managers and business partners to define key business processes and design effective controls to ensure process compliance. The Specialist will work closely with internal and external auditors on process gaps and compliance issues. For any action items resulting from process gap and/or compliance issues, the Specialist will work with the TSRC issue owners to ensure that the corrective action plans are documented and implemented.
We are seeking candidates with OEM or Automotive Supplier Specialist experience within Quality Management Systems, process development and internal/external audit compliance. Successful candidate will be focused in the area Federal and state emissions standards.
Requirements:• Bachelor of Science or Business Degree from an accredited program with minimum of 3-5 years of professional work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Visio and Access
• Must have above average written and verbal communication skills to provide coaching and guidance to process authors
• Experience in developing and maintaining a process audit and update schedule for a large group
• Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team. Highly motivated, self-starter
• Capable of coordinating activities with numerous internal and external groups
• Understand regulatory compliance activities and how they relate to specific processes and methods
Preferred Requirements:
• Engineering, Technical Bachelor or Advanced Degree from an accredited university
• Experienced in database applications, e.g., Microsoft Access database, Oracle
Additional Must Haves:
