Job Description

Successfully implement customers with company suite of applications, which may include integration with customer’s 3 rd party or ERP system. Must be able to lead and manage Implementation Team. Ensure all implementation and integration goals are reached according to project plans, timelines, budgets and quality expectations. The Implementation Supervisor ensures all implementations/integrations meet deadlines, validates and signoffs on implementations/integrations prior to Go Live, and provides team activity reporting to upper management.


  • Lead customer facing conference calls and webinars to gather requirements, discuss project status, discuss issues, demonstrate system functionality, etc.

  • Outline most efficient and effective solution based on customer requirements.

  • Define and execute interface options with 3 rd party systems (Ariba, Jaggaer, Coupa, SAP, etc) or accounting integration if necessary (Lawson, Quickbooks, etc)

  • Ability to outline and document mapping requirements for cXML and EDI documents

  • Provide appropriate documentation to development team

  • Verify mapping in test environments

  • Provide approval to move to production environment

  • Verify mapping in production environments

  • Document customer requirements and determine overall process flow for purchasing, invoicing and payment processes.

  • Create and manage project plan and timeline that are agreed upon from all parties.

  • Configure and test PO and Invoice integration into various ERP or 3 rd party systems.

  • Includes cXML and EDI integration

  • Ensure that all tasks associated with integrations are completed on time and within customer expectations.

  • Conduct weekly integration calls, document meeting minutes and communicate meeting notes to all parties.

  • Provide timely follow-up to external communications relative to integrations.

  • Research and evaluate internal and external reported system issues

  • Determine if configuration or system issue

  • Analyze impact of proposed solution across the business

  • Conduct test scenarios and provide to development team based off findings

  • Manage internal and external expectations on resolution depending on urgency of the issue

  • Lead and participate in internal project status meetings on weekly basis to update team on progress of tasks and discuss roadblocks, etc.

  • Communicate to upper management with team’s activity

Minimum Educational/Work Requirements/Additional Information:

  • Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access)

  • Minimum five years of relevant work experience with systems integration projects

  • Knowledge of web-based supply chain management applications at a corporate level, particularly procurement modules (Ariba/SAP, Jaggaer, Coupa, ESM) is preferred

  • Experience with ecommerce and system integrations including knowledge of: punchout, hosted catalog content management, EDI, cXML and XML

  • Experience with electronic payment or financial applications preferred

  • Experience in writing functional specifications

  • Experience in Use Case development

  • Experience setting up/executing test scenarios

  • Experience with Salesforce

  • Working knowledge of Project Management principles and practices

  • Demonstrates high level of attention to details and attention to quality

  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
