This position supports vehicle chassis dynamometer emissions and energy consumption testing necessary for vehicle development and required for vehicle Certification & Compliance demonstration. The test scheduling includes but is not limited to: Vehicle tailpipe emissions, evaporative emissions, fuel economy, on-board diagnostic functionality, and electrical systems efficiency testing. The position Supervises twelve driver mechanics, eight chassis dynamometer test cells, six evaporative SHED's, 30-50 tests per day/shift, and manages vehicle refueling/charging with 80+ vehicle management (soaking) area. The Scheduler will interact with requesting engineers to provide high quality test results, safely, and efficiently.

Basic Requirements:

Associate Degree in Technical field

Minimum 3 years’ experience in testing management with emphasis on Vehicle emissions or powertrain systems

General understanding of vehicle powertrain and exhaust after treatment

Team player with excellent communication skills

Dedicated and well organized

Strong computer skills - experience with MS Office

Preferred Requirements:

BS Degree or equivalent

Experience with vehicle emissions testing and with conventional emission analyzers (HC, CO, CO2, NOx and CH4)
