Position Description:

This is for a Quality Launch Lead: • Provide direction and leadership and prioritize the activities of the Quality launch team. • Serve as the main interface between the launch team and the Quality Team Managers and Quality Manager. • Develop and manage the Quality launch plan • Participate in the virtual DPA-5 process to: • Represent Quality in all launch activities and at each gateway review. • Communicate all concerns to the launch team for coordination and resolution. • Communicate the Quality launch plans and issues to the other area launch leaders • Support all PMT Leaders • Establish critical characteristics and apply design for manufacturing / assembly (DFM / DFA) principles • Coordinate tooling and facility changes and equipment installations with the Tooling & Facilities engineer • Select Quality Product Specialists (PSG's) and Tooling Specialists (TSG's) and provide leadership and direction to the group • Develop and implement the Quality control plans • Develop a Quality training plan with the LPWR Leader • Review all Quality product changes, understanding the differences relative to the current product and their impact to the Quality facilities, tooling and processes • Review recommended process changes with the staff engineers • Work with the launch team to ensure that all representative tooling is in place and ready to support the pre-production builds • Assist the production personnel during the pre-production builds • Identify, track and resolve tooling, process and design concerns encountered during the builds utilizing the AIMs process.

Skills Required:

• Production and LQOS launch experience

Skills Preferred:

• Competent in the use of data for decision making • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing • Strong ability to present in front of plant management

Experience Required:

• 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing • Quality experience

High School Diploma
