Position Description:

This position works with the Defined Benefits team at client to administer DB plans and support participant requests, vendor coordination, and other administrative duties. Responsibilities include: - Support administration of the client's Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans - Support in maintaining plan regulatory compliance - Assist with maintaining plan documents, plan rules, plan administration manuals, and plan literature and forms - Gather and organize data from HR Information Systems to resolve retirement questions - Perform benefit calculations - Interface with a broad range of retirement team members to resolve benefit issues - Work on special assignments including audits, data cleanup, and compliance - Participate in select projects with other Company benefit areas (holistic wellbeing, healthcare, insurance, etc.) - Gathering, organizing, and digitization of retirement mailings/communications/etc. This is a hybrid work opportunity, with in-office work required part of the time in Dearborn, MI.

Skills Required:

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel Detail-oriented and capable of navigating administrative systems Strong problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Team Player with experience in working with and/or leading teams

Experience Required:

Knowledge of or experience with defined benefit plans

Experience Preferred:

Preferred Experience: - Benefit compliance, regulatory & legislative matters - Defined benefit pensions or actuarial services - The UAW or other unions - Reviewing, reconciling, and identifying trends in data

Education Required:

Some college education

Education Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree - especially in a related field such as Finance or Human Resources
