Position Description:

EV Battery Laboratory Inventory Coordinator This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the electrification revolution. The Battery Lab Inventory Coordinator will be a part of a Electrified Systems Engineering organization and is the point person for the High Voltage Battery team for managing the inventory of on-site high voltage batteries and components at battery testing facility in Allen Park. To support the development of multiple battery programs and investigations, the facility typically has more than 70 batteries and related components on-site that must be tracked, stored, organized, moved, and quickly dispositioned and removed when no longer required. Responsibilities: Know and adhere to all relevant laboratory safety rules and requirements (training will be provided). Monitor, track, and physically manage inventory of all high voltage batteries and components at the facility (typically, more than 70 batteries and components). Collaborate with facility personnel, lab technicians, and engineers to catalog battery usage and plan/schedule disposition and removal of batteries. Write shipping orders following company procedures and manage move logistics (training will be provided). As needed, develop and/or maintain inventory spreadsheets and on-line inventory systems documenting key description attributes (part numbers, etc.), usage, and location. Move high voltage batteries within facility using pallet lifts and forklifts, as needed. Provide regular written updates on battery inventory status. Qualifications Safety-focused mindset. Comfortable working in a lab/warehouse environment (experience preferred). Physical ability to operate pallet lift and forklift (experience is preferred but site-specific training will be required and provided). Basic user knowledge/experience with computers and computer applications such MS Excel and MS Word (training in usage of unique applications will be provided).

Skills Required:

• Safety-focused mindset • Comfortable working in a lab/warehouse environment (experience preferred) • Physical ability to operate pallet lift and forklift (experience is preferred but site-specific training will be required and provided)
