Position Description:

Responsibilities • Support the production environment of the PART CONTROL (PCII) System globally • Includes all code control (VL and Part data setup) maintenance • Develop and test system enhancements and production support issues • Maintain Market Intent and Initial Parts Lists (IPLs) for NA export programs • Maintain the flow of Engineering part data from WERS to PCII • Maintain department access to PCII and WERS • Build and maintain user profiles and preferences (EPJA and UPFA) • Maintain engineering to service base number cross reference table (MXEA) • Add applicable commodities to Motorcraft candidate table (MAFA) • Process all global requests to add new engineering base numbers within acceptable turnaround time • Build and maintain parts solve queries to assign territory marketing intent for export vehicles • Build, maintain, and distribute Job #1 sheets for each model year • Complete setup for new vehicle lines being added to PCII at least two years in advance (prevents requirement for data refeeds from WERS) • Build and maintain PCII timing tables for all vehicles (STFA) • Build and maintain impact types and their criteria (IPFA and ITFA) • Ensure that book numbers and parts feeding into the default analyst queue (PA #101?) are promptly distributed to their proper owners • Setup and implement usage campaigns for dead vehicle lines (UCFA) • Identify efficiency and process improvement opportunities within PCII and downstream interface systems • Work with IT as intermediary for Parts Analysis business unit to build, test, and implement PCII systems enhancements

Skills Required:

Qualifications: • Familiarity with the following systems: WERS, CMMS, TeamCenter & Part Control/PCII - Ability to read 2D Technical drawings & CAD data -strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint & Access, Alteryx/Qlik View a plus • Must be detail oriented, a self-starter with an ability to multi-task and adhere to established deadlines - Goal oriented individual with the ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions • Demonstrated ability to initiate and conduct detailed analysis of complex issues and follow through with corrective actions • Strong technical written and oral communication skills with ability to effectively work in a cross-functional and remote (work from home) team environment
