Position Description:

Automatic Transmission and BEV drive unit Component Design and Release Engineer for Electro-Hydraulic components - Interface with systems engineers, calibrators & plant team members to resolve technical & quality issues. - Interface with suppliers to test / validate various designs for function & compliance to engineering specifications. - Review and develop component level foundation documents like DVP&R, DFMEA,SCCAF, Pdiagrams. - Work with cross functional teams to troubleshoot warranty returns and report findings. - Manage cost through TVM process. - The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Skills Required:

Strong engineering design & release and problem solving abilities , Experience with product quality and foundation documents, ability to review 2D and 3D CAD data and provide input for CAE analysis.

Skills Preferred:

GD&T, tolerance stacks, interface with CAD/CAE teams to analyze designs. Experience with Teamcenter and VSEM preferred.

Experience Required:

Design and release experience, review and interpret engineering specifications, identify critical characteristics to function of the component.

Experience Preferred:

Prior electrical component design experience is preferred.

Education Required:

Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
