Position Description:

As a Powertrain dynamometer calibration engineer you will be responsible for feature calibration efforts in the ELD powertrain dyno facility. You will support the commodity calibration teams to deliver production release calibrations through various features including emissions/OBD development. Work closely with the dynamometer test engineering teams to collect necessary data and follow/develop test processes.

Skills Required:

• Develop dynamometer-based powertrain feature calibrations in support of Program releases. - Perform engine/powertrain dyno data collection & analysis to generate feature calibrations. - Release feature calibrations in CFX for commodity team use. - Proactively manage calibration tasks to deliver programs on time with quality. - Effective communication with Program commodity calibration team - Work with ELD test engineers on test cell/PT setup for proper data collection. - Lead daily test cell activities with technicians and test engineers to complete Program deliverables. - Improve test cell operating efficiency using automation. - Create and develop efficient data & calibration processing tools. - Actively engage with subject matter experts and the larger calibration community to stay relevant with new and changing features.

Skills Preferred:

• AVL PUMA/CAMEO/Concerto experience

Experience Required:

• Basic understanding of powertrain calibration, controls, and test methods - Experience with calibration development tools, i.e., ATI/ETAS - Good analytical skills for data reduction and analysis - Experience with Excel/Matlab for data analysis and basic programming - Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
