G-TECH Services, Inc. Project Leader / Specialist / Associate Human Resources in Dearborn, Michigan

Position Description:

• Key contact for the following activities: o Project Management lead for variety of benefits related projects including Benefits Compliance Calendar tasks o Annual Purchase Requisition and Statement of Work creation o Invoice processing and reconciliation o Working with external vendors, internal colleagues, legal staff, UAW leaders and others to research and resolve participant issues o Coordinate the review and approval of various benefit communications and plan documents o Maintain documentation in accordance with retention requirements o Ensure compliance with Compensation & Benefits current and new legal and regulatory requirements by leading, coordinating, project planning, tracking and reporting o HIPAA Administration, including training, documentation, and ensuring safeguards are in place for protected health information • Implementation of planned and sporadic changes to benefit plans and processes with third-party Benefit Administrator • Verification of benefit eligibility as defined in Salaried Plan Documents, hourly Collective Bargaining Agreements, and governmental compliance requirements • Work within an agile team and support projects/assignments which may be outside key area of responsibility • Work with external vendors, internal colleagues, legal staff, UAW leaders and others to research and resolve participant issues • Research and resolve Operation Identified Comments (OIC) • Maintain documentation in accordance with retention policies

Skills Required:

• Demonstrated project management and change management experience • Research and investigate new regulatory or contract requirements and implement via project management • Understand and interpret legal and regulatory policy provision changes • Demonstrated problem solving skills and data-driven decision making • Demonstrated ability to lead/facilitate meetings with a variety of stakeholders • Ability to handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines • Deal effectively and constructively with unclear situations or direction • Ability to work from home while staying self-motivated • Contribute to team efforts and partner well with others to meet shared objectives • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; experience with other systems preferred (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SharePoint) • Effectively communicate appropriate information to leadership • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow protocol related to sensitive information

Skills Preferred:

• Project management experience • Benefits or administration background

Experience Required:

• 3-5 years in benefits administration preferred • Knowledge of benefits and compliance / regulatory / legislative requirements (HIPAA, Summary Plan Descriptions, 5500s, etc.)

Experience Preferred:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience which includes HR, benefit administration, project management and working with a union-represented population

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree required
