  • PDO - The Product Driven Organization (PDO) Transformation Office (TO) was established to guide IT towards its vision of creating teams that are customer centric while delivering value at market speed.

  • The TO enables the IT organization through guidance, training, and support throughout the transformation process.

  • The Communications Specialist position within the TO will contribute to the planning and delivery of internal and external communications and Org Change Management activities.

  • You will be responsible for creating, supporting and managing PDO related communications both within and outside of the TO.

  • You will work with diverse audiences across all leadership levels to identify, develop and disseminate communications across a variety of medium.

  • Develop high quality communications that are consistent with the TO.s goals and objectives.

  • Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of a communications strategy and plan that covers both internally and externally facing TO communications.

  • Develop high quality communications that will play a key part in increasing employee engagement and ensuring all employees feel connected as part of the PDO transformation.

  • Assist in the identification and improvement of communications channels, ensuring the channels are use friendly and regularly accessed by employees.

  • Create effective communications content about important updates, news, events and changes.

  • Identify and implement methods to measure and track the effectiveness of communications efforts.

  • Prepare materials such as presentations, flyers, posters and videos to support key announcements.

  • Ensure communications adhere to brand standards and internal policies.

  • Support the maintenance of the TO website, including creating and revising content as necessary.

  • Manage and/or support internal and external events and meetings hosted by the TO, the TO product lines or other TO-related partnerships.


  • Minimum 5 years. internal and/or external communications experience required.

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex environments and team dynamics.

  • Willingness to take direction and work within the framework of the team.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills.

  • Aptitude for working with and through people to accomplish goals as a servant leader and change agent.

  • Ability to establish a culture of continuous feedback loops with customers and through multiple communications vehicles.

  • Creative and organized problem-solver who can plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously and independently.

  • Excellent proofing and editing skills with high levels of attention to detail and quality.

  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to support projects outside of core responsibilities to support team goals.

  • Ability to receive feedback and quickly and accurately incorporate it.

  • Ability to liaise with a diverse range of people, stakeholders and customers across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong time management, coordination and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  • Ability to convey information creatively and graphically.

  • Hands on experience with SharePoint, including working knowledge of how to create, manage and maintain SharePoint sites.

  • Working knowledge of our client's key collaboration tools (e.g. WebEx, Webcast, Spark).

  • Working knowledge of CA Agile Central.

  • Working knowledge of design and video software (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Publisher, Camtasia).

  • Experience developing and executing communication plans.

  • Ability and willingness to travel to different work sites for events, meetings and client engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

HR, Employee engagement and/or Organizational Change Management experience.

Experience coordinating and hosting large scale global events.

Prior experience in an agile delivery environment while utilizing Scrum, Kanban, or Scaled Agile framework.
