Seeking an innovator who can think outside of the box to implement / develop new processes for the Core systems engineering section. In this assignment, the Core systems engineer will: o Resolve complex cross sub-system (Powertrain, Chassis, Body Electronics, EEESE Power Supply & EDS) electrical compatibility issues. o Lead the development of compatible electrical systems by solving electrical system/component compatibility issues in the forward model electrical system vehicle development. > Develop Core systems FMEA. > Develop Common EE Schematics in tool set. > Develop new digital tools for Core Systems (VSEM, PREEVison, Magic Draw). > Develop tool process changes to enhance Core Systems work. > Develop Generic Fusing Strategy, apply to new vehicle programs. > Develop Generic Grounding Strategy, apply to new vehicle programs. > Develop Electrical Device and Signal Database (EDAS) tool, process new signal requests. > Develop scripts using C, C++, or JAVA software coding.
Knowledge of VSEM GDT, GPPWRDS, GGS, EDAS. Knowledge FEDE, Design Rules / Specification interface.
Good communication and presentation skills (Power Point, process sheets, Attc C). Proven ability to progress design solutions delivering best compatibility with vehicle targets on time, with quality.
Knowledge of systems engineering. Knowledge / Programming coding in C, C++ and JAVA
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or equivalent (BS ECE preferred).
