G-TECH Services, Inc. Systems Engineer Controls in Dearborn, Michigan
Electrical & Electronic Systems / Feature Design Engineer (a.k.a. Feature Owner)
Electronic features in the automotive industry have grown from simple single-function components to complex connected vehicle systems.
This results in a challenging development process.
The distribution of features into functional groups is a necessary step to facilitate the complexity of these systems.
Proper definition and distribution of these functional groups is a critical step in the development process to ensure that customer expectations are met, as well as engineer objectives, such as shared usage of ECUs or modular design to make the systems scalable and re-usable. Nonetheless, the distribution of Features requires more effort to ensure a robust system behavior: the focus lies on the customer’s experience.
As an Electrical & Electronic Systems / Feature Engineer, you will lead the Agile development and modeling of new features using the latest technology to deliver an enhanced, seamless and connected experience for our customers.
We are looking for an electrical engineer that can engage cross functional teams (e.g. UX, HMI, Connectivity, Marketing) to lead Feature development with a keen focus on the end customer’s user experience.
We are seeking an innovator who can think outside of the box in an effort to deliver a seamless valuable experience for our customers.
