G-TECH Services, Inc. Senior Technical Recruiter in Dearborn, Michigan

GENERAL SUMMARY: Responsible for identifying, qualifying and placing qualified candidate at client sites. The Senior Technical Recruiter will have 5 + years in Technical (Engineering) Recruiting experience and will have expertise in full cycle recruiting (from intake calls to onboarding), expertise in Engineering along with the ability to quickly become highly skilled in supporting specific clients. Responsible for supporting client through developing candidate pools and pipelines, understanding client needs and ensuring qualified candidate are hired for long term assignments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Participate in qualifying orders through hiring manager intake calls, or other means of understanding the client needs.

  2. Write or edit job descriptions to ensure correctness.

  3. Post ads for positions on G-TECH's web site, job boards, social media, off shore resources, colleges/universities, and various other tools.

  4. Conduct candidate searches using all recruiting tools; Internet, company database, job fairs, networking.

  5. Review resumes and contact candidates to qualify the candidate's skills for any current open positions and for future needs.

  6. Conduct personal interviews with candidate to assess their interpersonal and technical skills when necessary.

  7. Negotiate pay rates and benefits

  8. Submit resumes of qualified candidates on open positions.

  9. Schedule and prepare interviews with client, conduct candidate interview debriefs.

  10. Communicate with client and/or designated contact to clarify job order for completeness of position requirements and candidate feedback status.

  11. Review qualified candidates for other G-TECH client opportunities and works closely with colleagues to cross-submit candidate as viable.

  12. Extend and negotiate offers of employment and complete appropriate paperwork.

  13. Place qualified candidates at client sites.

  14. Utilize the ATS system to track candidate, orders, placements and clients.

  15. Participate in meetings and process improvement teams.

  16. Become proficient in all recruiting tools to source candidate, both searches and postings.

EXPECTATIONS:

  1. Ensure delivery as part of a dedicated team of recruiters that support client needs.

  2. Continuously expand candidate pool and resources to ensure delivery.

  3. Demonstrate expertise in G-TECH’s recruiting process and ATS system.

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

Experience: 5 years of recruiting experience in a technical, professional or staffing environment.

Skills: Recruiting lift cycle from order intake, through sourcing, screening, selling, and offer management. Experience in direct hire recruiting; high touch (hiring manager contact) and low touch (VMS) recruiting, as well as understand the fundamentals of employment law as it applies to hiring practices, including a working knowledge of immigration. Must also have the ability to maintain a depth of knowledge of client’s needs, including their SLA’s and VMS systems.

Ability to drive a car to Client sites and job fairs.

Working Conditions: 100% of time is spent in an office or if remote, must have a home office that is established to conduct phone work without interruption.

Training: ATS, Recruiter Training; Client specific training, employment law.
