Job Description

  • The Connected Vehicle Product and Platform (CVPP) organization is a team dedicated to specifying, architecting, designing, implementing, and operating an End to End Ecosystem focused on delivering Telematics and Infotainment Services to our client The team is very diverse - representing capability in feature/service definition, systems engineering, End to End Architecture Design and Deployment, and Ongoing System Operations and Support

  • CVPP is seeking an Electric Vehicle (EV) Verification Engineer to test our next generation of EV connectivity solutions

  • Primary responsibility will be to work with a team to perform the project based testing activities to insure ensure a high level of quality is reached prior to implementation

  • In addition, Develop/maintain/execute end to end Feature technical specifications and test plans to ensure great customer experience, compliance to legal requirements and high-quality standards, coordinate test activities, and reporting of results to ensure a high level of quality is reached prior to implementation

Skills Required

  • Ensure that unit and integration tests developed internally to each product and across multiple cross-functional teams all roll-up to provide a full system and interface testing coverage and work closely with Feature Managers and Product Engineers and suppliers

  • Thoroughly evaluate the features and functions. Create, update and review test procedures, plans Test execution and coordination of lab and field tests

  • Maintain and Operate Infotainment test bench systems

  • Work with Automation team to create scripts that will provide high-quality results and expedite the verification process

  • Specifying customer-driven product requirements and User Acceptance Testing

Skills Preferred

  • Strong communications skills with the ability to effectively liaison between the multiple cross-functional managers including the individual product managers, suppliers, and the IT teams to ensure that requirements reflect the need of the business

Experience Required

  • 3+ years of experience as a Verification Engineer in Developing and managing all Test Assets (Test Plans, Test Cases, automated and manual Test Scripts)

  • 2+ years of experience with Telematics/ Infotainment background, and Mobile App verification

  • 2+ years of experience with CANoe/CANalyzer simulation and UDS

  • 2+ year of experience with IT Development skills and Test experience in Python, C/C++, JAVA, HTTP and MQTT

Education Required

  • BS Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
