*remote position - metro Detroit location preferred but must be in the eastern time zone

As a Customer Experience Studio Project Manager, you are part of a Customer Experience team that creates experiences that touch millions of users across our digital platforms and multiple vehicle brands. Your ability to manage others and multiple initiatives simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment with changing priorities and schedules will be crucial to our team’s success and our customers satisfaction.

CX Project Managers lead and facilitate the planning, execution, and transition of various CX design projects and programs. Your day-to-day Program Management and process guidance skills will ensure that Customer Experience design activities and internal programs meet project scope, schedule, and quality expectations throughout the entire design life cycle. This role plays a critical factor in our design success by facilitating and managing thoughtfully, maintaining boundaries around scope and schedules, and supporting communication with our expansive ecosystem of stakeholders. You’ll be asked to assess risks and seek opportunities in partnership with our design leads and program management teams to deliver world class products.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Describe and document program requirements, collaborates in the development of deliverables, and support the ongoing activities of design workstream activities.

• Possess and utilizes widespread agile knowledge and methodologies. Strategically identifies opportunities to create cross-studio optimizations and collaboration.

• Seeks to understand the many roles throughout the organization and how different positions collaborate with one another. Utilizes that knowledge to drive process improvements, efficiencies, and better CX experiences.

• Proactively provides guidance and leadership to cross-functional design and delivery teams and proactively identifies or clarifies issues with projects and processes and makes recommendations to resolve.

• Acts as an advocate for design and educates our stakeholders on process and practices regarding our studio.

• Serves as an expert on their workstream best practices.

• Supports the research and enablement of modern toolsets by working cross functionally to evaluate and procure on behalf of the studio.

Required Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of experience in creative services, production / project management, with an emphasis on UX/Ui digital products and services.

• Expertise with project management software (e. g., Jira, Microsoft Azure, MS Project)

• Design team and / or Software engineering experience managing project teams and leading creative execution

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills with the ability to translate design requirements to program execution partners

• Demonstrated critical thinking skills in risk/opportunity management

• Demonstrated experience in strategic and tactical planning

• Practical experience leading and influencing internal team members and external partners/stakeholders

• Organized, extremely detail oriented and able to balance multiple priorities

• Able to build strong, resilient relationships with stakeholders and be viewed as a partner

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills

• Proven capability to set clear expectations and manage team performance.

Education and Training

• Bachelor’s degree

• Proven experience in multiple project management methodologies, e. g., SAFe, SCRUM, Agile

• UX, Ui Certification a plus
