Job Description:

  • You must be a skilled front-end/open-source developer who possesses an in-depth knowledge of web application development.

  • This position requires a mastery of the hands-on aspects of front-end web interface engineering, an ability to design and build solid front-end architecture that integrates with other systems and technologies, and the ability to communicate these solutions to other members of the team both verbally and in written documentation.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience authoring web application front-ends with a modern framework like Foundation + SASS, and is excited to dive into other technologies should the need arise.

  • Overall day-to-day responsibilities include front-end engineering; the hand coding of web-based applications, integrating your code with other technologies (REST, PHP, CMS, etc); performance optimization; and working with visual designers, interaction designers, and back-end developers

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of front end/client side/user interface web development

  • You will be able to take a design in Sketch / Photoshop and build HTML, CSS and JS.

  • A keen problem solver, you will be able to come up with creative answers to our clients needs.

  • You will have a solid understanding of the fundamental aspects of HTML, CSS and JS.

  • You will be passionate about front-end with a focus on performance and standards.

  • You will have opinions and ideas about front-end and be passionate about sharing those ideas.

  • You will care about the details and making sure everything looks just right

  • You'll have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical people (be that account managers or clients)

  • You'll have a good understanding of common e-commerce design patterns.

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
