G-TECH Services, Inc. Project Lead in Detroit, Michigan

Primary Market Research team seeks senior analyst to support managers in project execution and reporting and to independently handle ad-hoc requests and projects. The Senior Market Research Analyst will work in close collaboration with market research team and other functional areas to execute and deliver market research studies and insights that help drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct or assist with projects as assigned by market research managers or director to manage day to day market research project duties. Help design custom research studies, oversee project execution, conduct analysis, draft insightful presentations with actionable insights in a compelling narrative format.

Candidate will perform a variety of tasks and work under general supervision. Duties could include, but are not limited to:

• Participating in team and cross-functional meetings

• Writing questionnaires, programming surveys using online software (e.g., Qualtrics)

• Maintaining team procedures and standards

• Handling project data collection and tabulation (procuring sample, responding to vendors, checking data, etc.)

• Analyzing data using Excel, SPSS, online tools (Qualtrics/SurveyMonkey/etc.)

• Populating reports with text and graphics

• Responding to ad-hoc requests related to various projects/studies

• Other projects as assigned

Required skills and experience:

• 5-7 years of market research experience (supplier-side or client-side)

o Experience with primary research methods and techniques: quantitative and qualitative

o Experience with secondary research methods and techniques (e.g., online research)

• Bachelor’s degree in market research, marketing, math, statistics, business or related field

• Strong analytical background

• Demonstrated ability to use PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SPSS

• Adheres to timelines with exceptional organizational and time management skills

Preferred skills and experience

General skills

• Healthcare/financial industry experience

• Self-starter and shows initiative, balances workload with minimal supervision

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

• Demonstrated experience working independently and collaboratively

Research execution

• Ability to write research instruments (screeners, questionnaires, discussion guides)

• Ability to manage a research project from start (making design/sample decisions) to finish (reporting/presentation), with minimal supervision

• Experience designing/interpreting analysis plans/data tabulations

• Ability to communicate with research suppliers and internal clients and maintain project timelines

Research analysis and reporting

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to move from data information to actionable recommendations

• Compiles results, prepares initial reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating findings into clearly written text. Ability to create documents/presentations in a variety of outputs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Data analysis skills; Working understanding of and experience with SPSS statistical software

• Ability to compile information from multiple sources to prepare comprehensive reports and insights, including collecting and analyzing data from online research, secondary source data and primary research findings.

Education/Certifications – Include:

• BS or MS in marketing, market research, social science or related
