G-TECH Services, Inc. Secretary - Director/Manager in Detroit, Michigan

Secretary - Director/Manager:

· Perform a broad range of administrative duties and other assignments for three Directors and area staff, using a computer and appropriate software packages as described.

· High School Graduate or GED equivalent required, bachelor degree preferred.

· Two (2) years of secretarial, administrative or related experience required; four (4) years preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary, along with ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.

· Work hours 8-4:30 (30 min lunch)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Schedule appointments and meetings, maintain calendars and assure all required information is prepared for scheduled appointments and meetings.

· Prepare, edit and proofread general correspondence including memos, letters, spreadsheets, e-mails, corporate forms, presentations, etc.

· Provide support for meeting preparation and attendance including agenda preparation and distribution, meeting minutes, equipment set up, travel arrangements, etc.

· Assist department staff with special projects, presentation development, preparation and monitoring of budget, office supply inventory, etc.

· Screen telephone calls and resolve routine inquiries.

· Track equipment and coordinate repairs including changes and upgrades.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or GED is required.

· Bachelor's degree preferred

· Two (2) years of administrative or related experience is required; 4 years is preferred

· Typing speed of 45 words per minute with 95% accuracy is required. Verified via testing.

· Effective analytical, verbal and written communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and other types of office equipment. Advanced skill level required specifically for Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Verified via testing

· Proficient interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with internal and external customers and all level of the organization.

· Strong organizational skills
