Enterprise Connectivity is seeking a Command & Control Systems Engineer to define, develop, launch, and support connected vehicle features globally. As a C&C Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for production support of current features and enablers in the Connected Vehicle & Services ecosystem. - Responsible for defining/developing and launching the connected vehicle features on Mobile App, Cloud , Smart Wearables for Command & Control. Work with strategic teams to migrate features to new vehicle architecture. Work with Verification teams, Plants & Customers to Triage/ Root Cause / Resolve Issues. - Develop, manage and execute the test cases for Command & Control Features to meet the quality standards set by the company. - Support and manage Technical Design Reviews via systems requirements, software code reviews and Design Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA). - Support end-to-end business process flow that cascade to vehicle components and off board application. Provide guidance and inputs for feature design verification plans working with requirements engineering teams and feature owners. - Responsible for supporting production issues and management tools to multiple sub systems. - Maintaining open requirements issue list, review, track and report on progress and status in the project management tools. - Establishment and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for assigned features - Create test plans, reports and manuals for Telematics Control Unit (TCU) performance Test Plans. - Triage Command and Control feature specific issues during different phases of the vehicle landmarks. - Be accustomed to operating agile and quickly to meet customer product demand
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills for overall production support. • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and ability to work under aggressive timelines and sporadic heavy workloads. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with support personnel, application development personnel, vendors and management. • Be a self-learner of newer concepts and application development best practices and trends. • Possess sustainability against changing demand from internal & external business requirements. • Be accustomed to operating agile and quickly to meet customer product demand. • Above all willingness to dive into details to solve system integration challenges.
3+ years of experience in creating and managing system level requirements. 3+ years of experience in creating/managing test procedures.
• Strong Experience with vehicle telematics, cellular communications, telematics service providers, in-vehicle connectivity features implementations, cloud architecture, data analytics, embedded telecommunication devices.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
