Position Description:

Position Duties: • Use Vis Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, review and follow up automation project's and installations • Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation problems • Update program backups for automation • Program new installations of Body tooling and conveyor systems • Reprogram automation for engineering changes and improvements • Coordinate automation campaigns Candidates for positions with client's Company must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Skills Required:

Minimum Requirements: • Education: High School Diploma • Experience: o Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls (RSLogix) o Electrical Background (electrician or technician) o Related experience o Allen Bradley Panel View use/programming AB Servo and AB VFD drives o Familiarity with VFD’s, Armor starts, encoders, network/Ethernet controls • Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills

Skills Preferred:

Preferred requirements: oStrong problem solving skills, including 8Ds, FMEAs, and DMAICs oAbility to independently troubleshoot all body equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery oFanuc robot experience oKawasaki programming, RS Logics, Microsoft office oPLC oAbility to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics oExperienced in laser burning oStrong understanding of conveyors system programming and body tooling techniques, in addition to networking understanding, DH+, Ethernet, remote IO oAbility to read blueprints oSimulation modeling exposure oLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience oLean Tools – 5S, Kanban, Poka-yoke, and Value Stream Mapping oDMAIC and DMADV (DFSS) Project Methodology experience oTQM and Kaizen Methods oFMEA, PPAP, and DOEs experience oVisual Factory Management
