Position Description:

• Coaching and leading production teams in the achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Maintenance, Environment and Productivity objectives by following standardized work • Optimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives • Monitor ANDON occurrences • Be a first responder for work teams, as secondary support through process confirmation, verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts • Support Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) and coach problem resolution to the lowest level • Provide communication and recognition • Meet FTT, inventory, cost, scrap, supply, and tooling expense targets • Build Team Leader and Team Member capabilities • Create a conducive work environment for the work team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks • Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents • Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends

Skills Required:

Basic excel, word, outlook. Ability to learn new programs

Skills Preferred:

Previous experience managing UAW members

Experience Required:

At least 1 year in the industry

Experience Preferred:

Sheet metal repair Stamping experience Resistance spot weld

Education Required:

High school
